Ant.com Video Downloader for Windows

Yes, I can do it in one word! USELESS. As of late Ant Video is totally useless in Firefox.I have emailed you guys, and some of the suggestions work for only one session and after that it'll ask me to install things that do not work either. Just hopeless. It used to work brilliantly but of late it is just a piece of garbage Cons: Getting the downloads going in FirefoxAnd don't blame Firefox

Handy and compact video streaming downloader. Probably the smallest video downloader out there and works great for what it suppose to do. Hasn't got bells and whistles but seems to work on pretty much any site with an embedded video clip. Quite handy that it just sits up there in your browser and when it detects a video just click on the video link and it will download in your browser. Great if you want to watch the video straight away. Would be handy if it was also a download manager instead of just in the browser and being able to download to different directories instead of the default. But it does what it does, and does it well. Find someone to do the instructions, as normal, and make us happy.. Couldn't understand what it was actually doing and, of course, no voice telling you how to do it and where to go, etc. Come on now, can't they afford to have a real person go through the instructions???

Video too small.. Until today the add-on has been great BUT now using Firefox 6.0 and the Ant Downloader 2.4.3 all videos downloaded play very small in the browser window. They used to fill the browser window. Pros: Everything else. Cons: Playback size too small.

Beware, it's tracking your information on Firefox. Records details of every website you visit, personally identifiable to you - even if you are running in 'private browsing' mode, and even if you are using something like tor. Avoid this like the plague if privacy or trust issues mean anything to you.
